I’d love to tell you the story of a woman who wouldn’t sit still for anything. Her aching back told her she was working too hard; her itchy skin told her to slow down and watch the birds for just 10 minutes; the trees outside her house took to throwing things at her to get her attention. Her phone chord was an octopus, grabbing handles and chair backs, trying to get her to sit down as she talked and walked.
Her children drew pictures of her. Beautiful pictures, drawn in jewel-toned crayons, with sky and trees, people playing on fields of color. She was always drawn inside the window of the house; you could only see her back or her profile as she worked at the computer.
I’d love to tell you the story of a woman who wouldn’t sit still and couldn’t hear a word anyone said but I simply don’t have time to stop and chat.
Artists are healers. I am certainly a healer for my clients. The beautiful, deeply personal, symbols I create for their professional heart-driven work. I don’t take this lightly and go deeply into the work with my clients. Creating a visual and written language that represents their next evolution – something for them to grow into via their words, materials, and websites.
