Before we met…
Gretchen runs a small and active creative studio in Twentynine Palms, in the Mojave Desert. She had an old site which had been designed a number of years ago by a friend. She had been doing her best to make it clear and functional, but the site was having age-related problems. The design was outdated and cobbled together. She was selling classes, but was working with a variety of software – each with it’s own monthly subscriptions. The process of purchasing a class was convoluted, and she was frustrated.
What we realized …
In conversation with Gretchen, we found that she hadn’t fully appreciated how much her small town had grown. There were more opportunities for marketing and promotion that she could now take advantage of. We also reviewed her branding, developed a logo, palette, and chose a focus which included her personal and family history, her passion for art, and her deep roots in the community.

And now, the WOW…
Now Gretchen has a refined logo – we took her existing logo and made subtle changes for legibility and use. We created icons from the various elements and formalized her color palette. We then designed her website on the Wix platform, including her family’s history of running the local Inn since 1928. She is now able to manage her classes, schedule, student/client communications, newsletter, and payment processing in one place. She was able to cancel a costly business management subscription and can handle communication on the go from her mobile phone.
